"It has come to my attention that there was some mis-information floating around about how raid-sign ups were handled. As a result, I was asked to let you all know how I go about putting together the raids.

First off, the following is how I conduct my raids. I take ownership and responsibility for the raids I conduct. We have others who lead raids, and they may do things differently, so these are not necessarily CoH rules.

I post a raid, and look for sign-ups. The sign-ups help me determine how much interest we have and/or who's available. I will use the sign-ups to put togther the group that I intend to take.

However, I do NOT use the order in which people sign up. My raids are not first-come-first-serve. Generally (not always successful), I will put together the group I'm looking to take the day before the raid. So, people, who sign up the day of, may be left out, not because your less valuable or anything of the sort, but because I already made my decision.

I will choose people based on what is needed to be successful, and depending on the raid, how I can help the raiders.

I look for people who can commit to 3 hours of raiding for the scheduled time.
I look for people who are prepared for what we are taking on.
I look for people who are ready to go, start pulling, at the start time.
Most importantly, I look for people who can follow orders."


Currently I run a Tuesday and a Wednesday raid with a few thursday raids mixed in. Teusday raid is completly based around progression therfore I wil be picky about groups. Most times on tuesday I am looking for a group that will move through the content quickly and be able to make attempts on the boss we are currently working on. Wednesday is a follow up/ alt run I am a bit more lax when it comes to the group on wednesday most of the time. Thursday runs will be Firelands ideally. Since it is older content I will genrally take any warm body for it. If you intend to raid with us please Bump this thread so I know you have read it.
